:D Actually they aint that bad at all is it! i'll gladly take a 7 day ban for speeding instead of points and loosing my license! But honestly how would they enforce that? Are the police that committed to pitch outside your house for 7 days to make sure your car dont move?

I aint having it! Its a couple of months to early for april fools buddy! :D

Firstly, if you get banned for 7 days, then you lose your license for 7 days. It's VERY rare for a court to permanently remove a driving license. In fact, I've never heard of it happening.

Secondly, they don't need to camp out waiting for you. If you trigger an ANPR, they'll come down on you like a gold-digging hooker on an oil baron.

I'm just wondering if you need to tell your Insurance. Do you have to send your Licence away for it to be endorsed with a ban for 7 days? If not, then your "Licence" remains conviction free :)

Yes, the paper bit does, shame about the database records that'll be the insurers first port of call :(
