RobD
Been banned for 7 days? Hows that work? Not being funny or anything just never heard anyone being banned for a week before pretty pointless if you ask me!

RobD
Actually they aint that bad at all is it! i'll gladly take a 7 day ban for speeding instead of points and loosing my license! But honestly how would they enforce that? Are the police that committed to pitch outside your house for 7 days to make sure your car dont move? I aint having it! Its a couple of months to early for april fools buddy!

Are the police that committed to pitch outside your house for 7 days to make sure your car dont move? Firstly, if you get banned for 7 days, then you lose your license for 7 days. It's VERY rare for a court to permanently remove a driving license. In fact, I've never heard of it happening. Secondly, they don't need to camp out waiting for you. If you trigger an ANPR, they'll come down on you like a gold-digging hooker on an oil baron.

Scooter
im just gratefull i only got that. its has made me think about my driving alot.... that's the thing likely to be more careful and cautious (at least for a time) after this sort of thing but likely to get stung too
pbryant_knight
I'm just wondering if you need to tell your Insurance. Do you have to send your Licence away for it to be endorsed with a ban for 7 days? If not, then your "Licence" remains conviction free Peter
