little num Posted November 3, 2009 Share Posted November 3, 2009 Here is my wife's car, sadly she has bee made redundant so we have no option but to sell her pride and joy. Its a black vectra 1.9CDTI with the better engine out of all the vauxhalls. Its been in the family for around 12 months and to be honest would keep it if we could, i paid cash for this and dont owe a penny on it so its all HPI clear. Engine + box Its the better 1.9CDTI engine with the 150hp 16v and pull really well, its done 93 thou and has full service history, the engine is mint with no noise or unwanted rattles. Gearbox is also the best vauxhall did with its 6 gears it cruise's at 80 doing just over 2 thou rev's so returns 55 - 60mpg easy. Interior As we was looking around ourselve's we really liked the elite model's interior but not the exterior so we then hunted for a SRI with full sporty black leather, and within 3 weeks we found this and fell in love straight away so we bought it. It has full black leather seats (factory fit) and leather door cards, the front seats are heated and burn your bum very quickly . Other extra's this has is built in satnav and works well as my mrs got lost a few times but was saved with this. It has the on board computer so tells you everything example - low oil level - low engine water level - low screen wash - mpg - average consumpsion so on. and all works perfect. Over all the interior is in very good condition with minimal wear to drivers seat bolster, and no rips - burns as its always been a none smoker car. Exterior Bearing in mind the mileage it shows that it was a reps car as the front end has stone chips and a few minor marks around the paintwork but nothing that noticable unless you wash it down then you find them all . But i would say its in average condition as when i was looking for a vectra i viewed around 20 vectra's and this was by far the better car of them all so id say im picky . Wheels + tyres As you can see in the pics it has original 17" wheels fitted with good tyres, wheels do have small marks around them but again nothing bent or buckled, but they do need balancing as you can feel a slight wobble at 70 ish, nothing that has ever bothered me or the wife. spare is a weight saver so yellow nasty thing. Tax + MOT Unfortunatly the tax is out the end of november but its cheaper then normal cars at only £83 for 6 months. Mot is middle of july, i moted it and there was no adviserys so i cant see anything being wrong for next mot. Also i welcome any RAC - AA inspection as this car is truely a pleasure to drive with everything working as it should. SERVICE HISTORY. The sevice book has all the stamps done at the right times and also i have mot's and other bills. The clutch and flywheel were replaced 2 weeks after we purchased the car so its good for another 80 thou id have thought. Overall The car had a small scrape on he passenger back door when we bought it but its not that bad but i thought id be honest as i dont want to waste your time or mine. It has aircon thatwas regased last summer (4 months ago) and works perfect, i cant say anything bad as there isnt anything other then the minor marks ive said. almost forgot its a 2005 year with the old plate going back on shortly (taken private plate off today) KS05 is the original year. look at the pics as it also has HID's and looks loads better then standard lights. £3750 ovno will soon be on pistonheads if no luck on here pm me or call me on 07809 627560. Abz Posted November 5, 2009 Share Posted November 5, 2009 I had a 03 Plate Vectra as a run around for 4 months. It had done 120k and was only the 1.8 Elite model, though it drove so smoothly you could never tell it even done half of that!
