jonathanc
Don't think NA's spin then eh? Come out in mine il wake you up Well, so far I'm lucky (touch wood!) and never spun yet but I came from an MR2 turbo so I guess I was extra careful I guess (and hope) the Sup is easier to recover in an event the tail does step out though? The Restorer
There are those of us who don't lose control as often. I'm still convinced a lot of it is down to tyre choice...
pistonbroke
managed to recover her instead of hitting the round-a-bout did shake me up a bit though, just didnt expect it. You span 270 degrees and call that a recovery? I call that a lost it big time
Mike
Won't have this problem if you bought an NA instead! You would... I've had mine for five years now, driven it in snow, rain, hail, you name it.. and I can still come a cropping on a slightly damp roundabout on the way to work...! In the wet, don't accelerate hard out of a corner/roundabout
trinitom
i bet most of people that lose control in this situations are negligent with correct speeds on wet, bad tyres, or bad alignment. i drive many times on wet and never had this problems. just respect the car and weather conditions. I agree. I drove mine in the wet, through muddy lanes, through snow and never really had any issues. With an auto TT (ah the mysterious killer kickdown:rolleyes:) that should have been a recipe for disaster. Then again I'm blessed with common sense. Ace
funny thing is though, im running pretty much brand new avon zz3's all round, suspension is all fairly new and the tracking got all set up 2 weeks ago. maybe it was my fault?? The main thing is that driver, car and other road users are unharmed. It just means that you'll be more cautious next time you approach that particular stretch of road, or any similar one; and that can only be a good thing. add heywood
It's always pissing down in England anyway we should all be used to it by now.
Thorin
Rain, snow, ice, sleet, hail, or just a bit cold, I still drive my car. I've been fine for 7 years and never really had any problems, this is usually on "budget" Falken 452 tyres too (which I still rate higher than Goodyear GS-D3's). Perhaps I just respect the conditions and drive accordingly.
trinitom
maybe the brand new tyres is your problem, they need a few breaking miles (100/20 miles) to start griping better.

Tricky-Ricky
First bit of rain or cold weather and everybody panics, i can understand the need for maybe the newbies who have just come from FWD to take head, but most of us have been driving Supras for two years or more, so if we can't drive them by now, maybe we should be thinking about returning to FWD:rolleyes:
movistar
I wish i could comment, but i dont take mine out in the wet, damp anything else really other than dry and sunny:d...well not untill i get rid of those sh*tty fullrun tyres on the back, their death traps[sHOCK][/sHOCK]
