Hi all,

I'm a new member and have only recently purchased a twin turbo 6 speed supra.

Already wanting more power as previously had a 400hp scooby. :D

Anyone have a rough idea of what sort of power i could run from a standard engine safely?

Thanks,

Tom

Hi Tom, 500-600hp seems to be the accepted safe limit on stock rods, although plenty run much more power than that these days (there's many running 600-700hp now). To get this sort of HP though, you'll need fuelling mods and a different turbo setup, along with a new clutch and a few quite expensive extras)

It's even fabled that someone on Supraforums ran over 1000hp on a stock bottom end for a short period.

So long as it's serviced correctly the engine should run double the stock HP reliably.
