Wheel fitment questions

Just a couple newbie questions....

Will wheels with a PCD of 114.0 fit a Supra? Does the extra 0.3 of a ml make that much difference?

Also, done a few searches on wheel fitments and a lot of people have wider wheels on the back. What's all this about?

Hi Conalex and welcome.

The wheels that you may have seen with a PCD of 5x114 are more than likely 5x114.3, some dealers prefer to state just 5x114.

The staggered fitment (wider on rear) is more common on high powered rear wheel drive cars. Standard fitment for the Supra is 8x16 front and 9x16 rear also 8x17 and 9.5x17 for UK spec and some later J spec models.

Cheers IJ.

Would there be a problem fitting wheels the same width (or even a smaller width to standard) to the front and rear of the car? Also, what is the correct offset I should be looking at? 40mm?
