keancy
I am taking the Supe for it's annual MOT shortly and just got out the MOT certificate from last year. On scanning over the certificate I noticed that it reads just slightly over 117000 miles on the odometer and I have no idea how the hell they came to that conclusion given the car is in KMH and when I took it in last year it had around 58000km (sounds they just doubled the figure) on the Odo and now only shows 67900km (just over 42000 miles). It only had just over 31000 miles on the clock when we bought it two years ago. Now I know you will probably say I should have checked it when the MOT first got done last October but I didn't. Is this going to be a problem or can it be fixed ?? i.e is this logged on the system so when I come to selling it I might get accused of having clocked it?? MrRalphMan
I think you'd find that you are going to have issues when the next MOT is done as the system will check the milage. There should be a 'support' number on the MOT that should be able to tell you what you can do to resolve this.

ozz
But being realistic does anyone actually believe the mileage on jap imports anyway? That may be true for when they are out of the country but I always go through the MOT history when buying cars and would run a mile if the mileage looked clocked. keancy
Yay Supe passed MOT not a problem, got front Brakes done though as they was getting low. And I now have a "CORRECT" Odo reading recorded on the new certificate too
