rosscod22
Im ross and have just purchased myself a 1994 3litre auto supra. iv always loved them and im so glad i did. Its obviously not the quickest one i could have got but looks the biz and certainly has not disappointed or let down my expectations of the car. Im glad to be part of a club too so will hopefully get to know a few of you and get some advice. Cheers

AndyT
Vileside spoiler is a marmite kind of thing here.
rosscod22
Ah i see. Personally i like it. I wouldn't have bought the car otherwise but I do like the normal spoilers too. Im not the only person with that spoiler am I??

Im not the only person with that spoiler am I?? No mate. It is a very heavy spoiler though. Knackers your boot struts. TRD spoiler would be nice. Veilside side skirts and spats are popular and seem to blend well with a lot of kits. It's the spoiler that raises the most comments, for and against. rosscod22
In saying that i have noticed that the boot struts are rattling. does this mean they are on their way or already knackered? I take it these can be replaced by more "heavy duty" struts that can take the weight?
TonyP
As said it's a marmite thing. nothing personal. It really is a lovely looking supra. Has it been resprayed?
rosscod22
Of course, your entitled to your opinion. haha It was resprayed at some point im pretty sure. It was imported in 2006 and think it was done just after it arrived. However there is the usual small stone chips on the bonnet and a small hairline crack in the paint on the drivers side front wing. It is barely noticable tho.

I take it these can be replaced by more "heavy duty" struts that can take the weight? Probably on the way out then. They can be replaced but I'd still go for standard items. If you do go for harder set items and change the spoiler you could find the gate difficult to close.
