JS2004
As title says, spent a good hour searching through the members garages to find the above combination. Just had bomex front bumper fitted, black, wondering which skirts. I was going to go with veilside but now having second thoughts and wondering if OEM would work better.. So.. does anyone have a bomex bumper + OEM skirts, ideally in black, who could post one or two pics (or even point me to their garage) please? I need to get some skirts because mine doesnt have any, and got a tear in the sills from where previous owner drifted over a speedbump or something.. Cheers Edit.. may also be swayed towards bomex skirts but not sure yet..
Guest joop
I have this combo. But it's not in black, sorry. http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/4859/rimg0005c.th.jpg
hadyn
The C-West side-skirts seem quite appealing at the moment: or Blitz for that general 'chunky' feel: Not into bodykits, but thats some of the options I would consider, as well as the Ridox skirts (which are basically the OEM ones but with a little insert in them )
JS2004
Hmm, interesting c-west ones, had not even considered those. Its mainly to cover up the sill damage because it doesnt look too hot with what I can only describe as a "tear". Theres something strange going on with the plastic around the top of both doors too, like a stanley knife has been taken to it to carve something off =/ At work so I cant see your pic joop, but will check it out when I get home.. roll on 5pm! Thanks for the replies / ideas guys =) Edit was looking for Ridox but they seem difficult to get hold of Edited October 27, 2009 by JS2004 (see edit history)
supra steveo
bomex body kit in my garage mate its the full shabang too with a trd bonnet
supra_aero
Bomex goes better with veilside imo (what I had). OEM works too but bomex is agressive, OEM is soft and curvy. So doesn't flow as well imo. Blitz would be my ideal if I were to do it again.
Kirk
definatly like the look of the blitz skirts or possibly stillen... probly the only skirts besides ridox your can keep stock front and rear Edited October 27, 2009 by Kirk (see edit history)
JS2004
Stillen, think ive seen them ones. Now that ive seen the others available I originally had the option of OEM or veilside, however now its still those two, plus bomex, plus c-west, plus ridox.. decisions... Good call on the OEM and ridox being "softer" though - dont want it to look half-done. Im liking the look of the bomex skirts on yours Steveo - but they do look different in black compared to silver. might have a play on paint and try to colour it in lol Were your facelift front indicators tricky to install Steveo? The bodyshop is saying theyre having difficulty figuring out how to put them on the bumper. Hmm.. Joops look is starting to grow on me.. the OEMs still look quite awesome on bomex front.. Maybe I can buy one of each kind and change them daily.. Edited October 27, 2009 by JS2004 (see edit history)

JS2004
Did you fit them yourself? I wouldnt mind having a go at fitting them myself when I decide on which ones to go for, but dont wanna make a complete mess of it! Bomex are on the list, im gathering pics to run by a "panel" lol
Dave
yes got them from knight racer only a little bit of sanding here and there and they went straight on just got to get them sprayed up and the door lip bonded down not a bad price either £165 ish, as skirts go a nice fit
SupraGirlie
Have a look in my garage. The white aerotop supra had Bomex skirts (horrible the way they curve up and don't suit the Supra imo) My current black TT Aero has OEM skirts - you can buy these off me if you want as I'm going for Do-Luck skirts shortly. I also had Supra's with Blitz and Veilside skirts - again see my garage

scotty71
I like the combo, Looked at loads of cars before I bought this in Jan... It ticked all the boxes for me but style is down to the individual... some like veilside some dont some like Bomex some dont and so on... Would be boring if everyone liked the same things It sits nice but I need some bigger alloys at some point.. They will be coming soon but Im still liking the stock 17's

kslb
I think the bomex skirts go well with the other bomex front but would go for oem with the f&f bomex front. I have the other bomex front and skirts pics in garage if interested.
