Smartest car at your work?

Recommended Posts

Well, where i work, I have the smartest, deffo fastest car. oh, and theres another supra, but its red and an n/a ;)
Where I work all the contractors driver 04/05 plate 330Ci and M3 or big fuck-off 4WD like ML Mercs or those Volvo 4WD things. But, as I've mentioned before, there's only 300 people at my place of work and yet there's now SIX Supras!

It must be the highest concentration of Supras in any (non-motor trade) place of work in the country!

There's:

My two Supes (S-reg VVTi and L-reg RZ)

*Lightwave's Black Aerotop (with Do-luck Double Six chromes)

*Frand's silver NA (Immaculate and standard, even the exhaust)

*Rachel's 2002 VVTi (Currently for sale, see the Classified section)

Nick's silver NA (Needs a rear spoiler IMO)

And the two fastest car there are both mine! :D :D :D

The Chef at work has one of these being modded at the moment and has been testing it at Rockingham.

Total track car so, does not even see road tyres.....does that count ?

Otherwise, mine is the smartest :)

I pulled up to park a few month's ago and the space next to mine was full up with one of these:-

Apparently back in '90 Alesi signed for Frank but then changed his mind and signed for Ferrari. Frank let him go but wanted the current red car. So now it sits in our Museum.

Dunno why. I had the first one. Then Nick got his NA really cheap because somebody traded it in at the dealership his GF works in.

Then Al (Lightwave) started at our place and was already well into Supras but didn't own one yet. I think he had already ordered that massive Mechano spoiler and a load of other bits from SupraStore before he found himself a Supra.

Next was Rachael. Her car had just 3,000 miles on it when she first got it. I don't actually know Rachael but she's the Financial Director (of a FTSE100 company) so I don't think she struggles to fill the car up.

Frands only got his Supe recently. He bought it off eBay but it's almost mint. He's been Umming and Arring about buying a sports car for months. He was all set to go for an old style 911 for a while but saw sense in the end.

So no, we aren't all loaded. Apart from Rachael we're all just common or garden programmers.

No competition here really... just a load of Audi TT's, an M3 and a Boxter, the only thing that's anywhere near the class of the supra (IMHO) is a VX220 Turbo.

BUT one of the guys I work with has just bought a UK TT 6spd... I expect to see him around here sometime soon
