:( Dog put to sleep

I think it was more the fact they were all in the room when it happened. I wasn't there just got the phone call earlier today. This is twice its happened now, the first time was her friends child but that was just a warning i think and this time was a head attack on her son.

I also agree about the jealousy with kids, and it's such a shame that he was put in hat situation if it's happened before.(

Our dog hates young kids but we've know that for years and whenever there are kids about we put her in another room and lock her in.

Not the dogs fault, if it had happened once before then it should have not been put in the same situation again :(

Its usually the owners at fault in my opinion and too many havent got a clue about their dog or how to look after it or how to control it.

Theres a bit more to it than buying a tin of dog food and taking it for a walk once in a blue moon.

Before you start jumping on my head i tend to agree with most on here, but she is no longer my dog hence the ex, and she was great with the little one up until now according to my ex.

I only learned of these things today. I'm sure people with babies that had a dog attack them would probably make the same decision.

There are always going to be people that agree with it and disagree with it.

It's easy to blame the owners, but if it comes out its happened before and it kills or seriously injures a child then people will say why didn't you have it destroyed when it first happened, you can't win.

I'm a dog lover, but I think that putting a dog to sleep that has bitten someone is the only option. :( .

What type of dog is she out of interest ?.

Agree with the above, at the end of the day, it is a DOG....with it attacking kids more than once makes the situation very tough.
