Ian C
No, it's not See http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=37647&page=1&pp=15 "Race compound pads are 260 and 280 a set, for J-Spec and UK spec respectively" So pretty much double the cash. I can't speak highly enough of the fast road pads, they are a bargain at this price, better than stockers and Porterfields from my experience. The ONLY time I've ever had any squeal whatsoever is backing out of the garage after the car has been wet and the discs have rusted, and two seconds of left foot braking clears that up. Dust is minimal, fade is nonexistent (with my driving style). And removing the anti squeal shims makes a difference you wouldn't believe to the pedal feel -Ian

Chris Wilson
The race ones are NOT the same price at all! Let's just keep this to the J-Spec and UK Spec fast road pads for simplicity. race pads need ordering direct and kept apart from this buy please. Chris Wilson
Chris .. do you do these to suit AP 6 pot calipers? Cheers Dale The only pads i do for AP six pots are Performance Friction carbon metallic pads, in all available compounds, but they are VERY expensive. Sorry. Chris Wilson
OK, we have a fair few buyers here, so decide amongst yourselves how to do this. I suggest you all send cheques direct to me, and between yourselves nominate where all the pads are to be shipped once the cheques are in and cleared. Or if someones coming over here they can collect the lot and you sort it out from there? I need your *REAL* names, not BBS names, so I know when i have a cheque who it's from. Also a contact phone number and address with your cheque please. Below is *MY* address and where I am, copy pasted from my blurb, so you can decide if it's easier for someone to collect from here. Thanks for the response, even though i am making sod all at least I am recouping some money after my careless order form filling hiatus! Chris Wilson Newbury House Lower Heath Shropshire SY13 2BT Home / work : 01948-841581 This is between Whitchurch and Shrewsbury, off the A49 trunk road, on the B5065 linking the A49 to the A442. The URL at the bottom shows my location in relation to the Midlands motorway network. From the M6 join the M54 and go to the END, onto the A5, then follow A49 Whitchurch. Ignore earlier junctions signed Whitchurch! Follow A49, Whitchurch for about 15 miles. Then, about 8 miles BEFORE Whitchurch you will find a new 50 MPH limit with signs showing you have entered Prees Green. Look for RIGHT turn onto the B5065 signed Market Drayton. Newbury House is on the left about 3/4 mile down. It's actually a bungalow, set back behind a large front garden, fenced behind distinctive wooden post and rail fencing. The house nameplates are on either side of the front gates, on the fence rails themselves. If the gates are chained and locked, please assume I am out and ring me. We have large dogs, they may be loose, and they guard, we also keep animals that come under the Dangerous Wild Animals Act, although you will not even be aware of them unless you are somewhere you shouldn't be! From the other end of the A49 (going south) ignore Whitchurch signs, just stay on A49/A41 signed Shrewsbury until you come to the new 50 MPH limit and the signs show you have entered Prees Green. Turn LEFT (NOTE LEFT!!!) onto B5065 signed Market Drayton, (and NOT the earlier right turn onto the B5065, sign posted for Wem, as countless do...) and again I am on the left about 3/4 mile down. ***** M6 Toll Road ***** The M6 Toll Road is now open, but it may not be a faster route from the south. See http://www.m6toll.co.uk/maps/ and make up your own mind, you will have to go further north than the M54 junction and come southbound on the M6 proper back down to the M54 junction, or take an alternative cross country route. It's probably not worth it unless the M6 proper is known to be gridlocked... Make up your own mind on this one! ***** M6 Toll Road ***** More detailed map and directions on request. http://www.formula3.freeserve.co.uk/newbury_house.jpg

AJI
May be easiest if we all simply send cheques to Chris direct and then with an accompanying letter detail your own home address for shipping?
tbourner
The main point of the deal is he will only send (at least) 4 sets of pads to 1 address.

tbourner
Where is everyone that wants what? I'm up for j-spec and I'm down south in Portsmouth. Basically it's gonna cost more to travel any more than 100ks than it would to get delivered.
Suprasteve
lets not bother about the group postage - lets face it we all live too far away from each other. - too much hassle. ------------------------ CW, i'm sending my £150 by direct payment to your account and an e-mail to you to confirm this later today with my address details. Thanks ...nice doing business with ya.
TazUK
I'm not sure whether I'm right in thinking this, but I thought this was to buy 4 'sets', not 4 'pads'.... as in 4x4=16 pads. Hence, the 'group buy' part of this deal. Chris would then send the sets to one person and they could distribute. Chris, could you confirm/deny?
