TopgunTT
Big win for Liverpool today, 4 points adrift is alot better than 10 points what it would of been if they had of lost. Fergie wasn't happy again i see
Porky1978
Its a damned shame innit??? Vidic played like a complete tool, or was it that Torres had him in his pocket all game?
The Raven
As much as it pains me to say it, I fear it papered over the massive cracks in our club. Well happy but things need to change in the board room or we could be in real trouble
bradleyh_15
agreed the board room needs sorting and unfortunately a few good players are needed!proven quality mostly! but the result was sweet!
RiceRocket
Liverpool score and Rafa goes: I fear it papered over the massive cracks in our club. Funny that, same as I said when the match finished. PS. Good ol' Scousers from the Kop lobbing the inflatable footballs onto the pitch
Martin J
Very pleased with the result, glad it went to 2-0 in the dying moments rather than another late Man U smash-and-grab - I felt the defence might have folded under a real bit of Utd pressure so to sneak a second on the break was great However, we won't win anything this season unless money is spent in January to bring in quality squad players and it'll probably be too late for a title charge by then. Aquilani is very good but it's a toss up whether he will adjust to the Premiership quickly enough to make a decent impact this season. And if you believe the papers, Mascherano has refused a new contract (thankfully I don't given it's quoted from the The Star... But there's no smoke without fire?!?). I just hope the Yanks flog it to someone who is at least vaguely interested in the club, and hope it happens quickly.
The Raven
I dont think they have a choice but to sell, The money is getting tight the banks want the money paid. Lucky for us we are a huge club with a huge following and history making us a sellable company. If we where a mid to lower table club i fear another Leeds would be pending
Martin J
I'm hoping that they DO sell, rather than cling on to try and get a price that isn't realistic which might result in the sale of some of our better players. Also amazed that they actually sat side by side in the crowd today (albeit just for the first half)!

MaveriK
Our midfield went missing but dear lord the officials helped you out alot, there is no way on this planet that Lucas should have made it through the game without a card or two. You win some you lose some, we deserved what we got today but you are still a two man team. It will be interested to see what happens against Lyon. if they sink you you are in all sorts of trouble both financially and confidence wise. jim
I think it says a lot for the players and Rafa that they came out without Gerrard and put in a shift like that under so much pressure. Big big result for us today but a long way to go before the title's decided. I don't see that it's papering over the cracks, every team has their ups and downs, you lose a few in a row and it's a crisis with the manager's head being called for, we're a better side these days than we have been for many years and we're going in the right direction. Will be happy to see the back of the murcins, a big saudi cash injection would be nice! Benyoun had a stormer, defence looked better without Skyrtle tbh, Torres was magic, only complaint was that there was a big weakness at left back that Utd really should have exploited more, but they weren't in the match to be fair with nightmares for Rio and poor shifts from Scholes and Giggs. All that cantona mask wearing and beach ball tactics from the travelling fans was a bit premature...

SupraDan24
liverpool deserved it . Think Torres deserved it is more accurate Jurgen lol . Talk about one man team, the guy must be knackered after carrying the rest of them for most of the match. Good game tho. How hilarious were all those beach balls on the pitch, Reina proper spat his dummy out haha.
TopgunTT
Vidic really can't handle Torres , The Spaniard is just a different class. He couldn't defend against him all he ever done was take the player out. Dirty player. Fergie throwing his toys out the pram again ha ha

Axle
we deserved what we got today but you are still a two man team. In that case, you were beaten by one man team - As Gerrard did not play. Man-Poo will be missing Ronaldo big time this season.

All the team played well yesterday, Kuyt is becoming a very important member of the team as his battling qualities are immense. Benayoun was outstanding too, our midfield didn't give Man United any time on the ball with the quick closing down. Man United looked quite ordinary yesterday:cool:
