Scooter
One single turbo will never "flow" like a pair in sequential setup but i'm not talking about sequential, i'm talking about running them in parallel, a practice that is generally accepted as 'ok' for stockers, which whilst compromised (flat spot at the sequential transition) doesn't cause (at least in the short to medium term) engine failures. dr_jekyll
thats why i think na-t can be a good idea. you can get bpu levels with the sound of the external wastegate , and a manual geartbox for around 5k, including buying the car!!! i know a tt is a beter car from scratch but if you havent got the big money to spend its not a bad substitute, and obviously if you want big bhp a tt- single is a better plan but if youv got 10k to spend on a coversion you shouldnt need to be asking for quotes. RobD
Just read up on it! By the looks of things it doesnt take 5 mins to do, didnt see any part where it said about power gains though just different delivery of power!
Jazzy
Just buy mine! Been my daily drive for a year and a half with no problems at all, and on the plus side it used to be owned by our own Ryan G.

imi
Any major disadvantage except the lag? isnt much of that if any if you go for the right setup.
Dash Rendar
My T67dbb - if anything - actually seems *less* laggy than my previous Supra running sequential twins. I'm told the dbb makes a big difference in the spool up. So, with the right turbo, I don't think there's any disadvantage!
j_jza80
My GT35R single spools quicker than my mates TTC equipped car.
imi
been discussed to death before......several threads of the journey to a single conversion; mine included. All I would say is to find a reputable and reliable garage to do the work and use someone like Ryan for mapping. The parts come 2nd. imi
caseys
What mods do you have already? To do it PROPERLY from scratch, at least £10k. Agree with LBM and Gaz. Circa that amount
Gerry
Well I "went single" a couple of months ago, and I recon I'll be lucky to get away with about £200,000 G On the other hand, I got custody of the Supe
benkei
Apparently Matt H has ordered a set of these... http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee2/littlebigman_123/twins.jpg I'd prefer these TBH Edited to remove picture to keep this thread out of NWS. SupraAyf
That's final then - twins are better than a 'single'!!
a98pmalcolm
haha they are dam hot! lol, Thanks for all the response about this guys I'll be honest i dont think is be willing to pay around £10,000,i'd rather put that 2wards my next car. If i want to ugrade the twins (on the car lol) i see Whifbitz to the hybrids for £1,667.50 which run up to 1.5 Bar, What gains would i expect with that? Thanks Paul
Luxluc
Honestly, I wouldn't spend money for hybrids. Better safe that money for the small power hike they'll give you compared to the stock turbos.
imi
Why ... you think they have been upgraded ?? indeed - the left one seems to have new internals.
