a98pmalcolm
hay ya all. Ok it crossed my mind to maybe save up and go big single turbo. Theres alot of nice BHP figures i see on alot of your cars and the sound of a single is just a bonus. What sort of cost are we looking at? will i have to also go management? Any major disadvantage except the lag? Thanks Paul

Gaz6002
What mods do you have already? To do it PROPERLY from scratch, at least £10k.

T2 MSW
At least 10k if starting from Stock or even BPU depending on what you have already. It always works out more expensive than you think it will.

a98pmalcolm
yer i see so many cars with the converstion from a BPU. I saw on Whifbitz site theres a kit for around £3500 but i prosume there must be hidden costs etc... Id love to get the "buzz" from doin it myself but £10k is a lil more than i expected.....even though im sure its worth it! lol
GazB
I would have thought more like 15k plus for over 500bhp power levels depending on what level of parts you choose to fit and who you choose to do the work
DODGYDODDS
but i prosume there must be hidden costs etc... Heres some Possible uprated clutch. Fmic , if you dont have one. larger injectors uprated ecu. With all appropriate harnesses fitting of the kit and ecu. And mapping, which done properly on a dyno, is not cheap in it's self edit if your auto, you'll have to uprate your box too
a98pmalcolm
so realisticly for moneys sake buy one with a single already lol.
jevansio
so realisticly for moneys sake buy one with a single already lol. There is a risk associated with buying one as opposed to doing it yourself. I'd do it yourself, that way you can have it exactly your way. j_jza80
You might want to have a word with Matt or Dude from AFR, they're developing a single kit that they aim to run from the stock fuel system, which should give slightly higher than BPU performance. And you'll get the lovely noise

Not really worth it TBH
