Gaz6002 Posted October 23, 2009 Share Posted October 23, 2009 These are EAN-13 barcodes, and the "guard bars" - printed left, centre and right, are NOT the same as the representation for the number 6, otherwise the system wouldn't work! The representation of a "6" in EAN-13 is two (equal-width!) lines followed by a space. The guard bars, whilst having the same two lines, are not followed by the space. All that = EPIC FAIL for OP. TonyP Posted October 23, 2009 Share Posted October 23, 2009 tony it's an optical illusion on the pic i used, go in your cupboard and look at barcodes with the 6 on, they are equal widths, and identical to the first middle and last lines im mearly mentioning as an interesting subject bud I've just had a look in the kitchen cupboard and..............
