As you read it would appear the founders have more scope to the project, eventually linking health records, insurers, employers and more. This is all very sci fi, and tbh a little scary, what (if this is implicated and addopted ) could this mean. People have speculated for a long time that it will be a chip implanted. Mondex who spent alot of time investing where the best place to implant a chip would be.. found out that either the forehead or the back of the hand would be best... food for thought... Yeah I have seen this before, always found it real interesting, I think thats where some people get the fact that its going to be some way of monitoring people like a bar code. On the other three pairs of lines they are equal thickness. tony it's an optical illusion on the pic i used, go in your cupboard and look at barcodes with the 6 on, they are equal widths, and identical to the first middle and last lines im mearly mentioning as an interesting subject bud I love the way threads de-rail. What is interesting is the bible says no man can by goods or services without the mark (of the beast) dont know the verse though, these rfid chips originaly have been designed for scanning and one of there main reasons in their patent is so in future they can be used as a means of payment i.e replacing credit cards ect, very much like the japanese using mobile phones now to pay for stuff by holding it up to scanners. So that ties in very well to what the bible says, and in no other time have we been in a situation where a mark as such or technology has had so many simularities to the said ''MARK''. Another ironic coincidence is that the manufactures of the rfid chip, did alot of R&D into best locations for implant on the human body which turns out ( as mentioned in an earlier post by someone ) is the forehead or back of the hand, again tying in quite close to what the bible says. Again i am not religious or tbh believe in the bible, but i have to say the coincindences are striking in what is said and what is happening! Snooze Posted October 23, 2009 Share Posted October 23, 2009 These are EAN-13 barcodes, and the "guard bars" - printed left, centre and right, are NOT the same as the representation for the number 6, otherwise the system wouldn't work! The representation of a "6" in EAN-13 is two (equal-width!) lines followed by a space. The guard bars, whilst having the same two lines, are not followed by the space.
