Hi guys

need some help on finding a snap off steering wheel for my car.

Does any body have any on here that i could buy?

I've only seen momo ones, but are there any others that do em?

How much would one cost and would i have to get the boss as well?

Oh ok,

so it's the adaptor thats snap off and the steering wheel is just a standard after market one.

Thing is i've been asking a few of my mates, thinking they may know something!

Guess i should have come here in the first place! :D

Just one more quick question... are they easy to fit?

or would i be better off asking someone at a garage?

and if i could fit it myself, how would i go about removing the steering etc.?

Very easy to fit, after market boss bolts in with the big nut just like the stock one does, snap off adapter bolts to that with 6 of so small screws and steering wheel bolts to that the same way.

To remove you simply push in the locking pin on the snap off adapter and pull the flange to wards you.

Mine looks identical, but ismade by D1, cost less too. Had it on the car for a few years now. I was expecting the clamping force to have deteriorated by now as I take the wheel on and off nearly every day. It is as good as the day I fitted it. The only down side is the stalks on the column are harder to reach keeping both hands on the wheel.

Well i don't always have both hands on the steering any way, because i've got hand controls fitted and a steering ball. So i always have one hand on each. :D

Took a little getting used to when i first got the hand controls, but the stalks aren't that much of a problem any more.
