mobsta_01 Posted October 21, 2009 Author Share Posted October 21, 2009 Oh ok, so it's the adaptor thats snap off and the steering wheel is just a standard after market one. Thing is i've been asking a few of my mates, thinking they may know something! Guess i should have come here in the first place! Just one more quick question... are they easy to fit? or would i be better off asking someone at a garage? and if i could fit it myself, how would i go about removing the steering etc.? JamieP Posted October 21, 2009 Share Posted October 21, 2009 Very easy to fit, after market boss bolts in with the big nut just like the stock one does, snap off adapter bolts to that with 6 of so small screws and steering wheel bolts to that the same way. Terminator Posted October 21, 2009 Share Posted October 21, 2009 Mine looks identical, but ismade by D1, cost less too. Had it on the car for a few years now. I was expecting the clamping force to have deteriorated by now as I take the wheel on and off nearly every day. It is as good as the day I fitted it. Well i don't always have both hands on the steering any way, because i've got hand controls fitted and a steering ball. So i always have one hand on each.
