How can one tell?

Quickest tell is the harness guides, on OEM's they are cloth.

Practical way to tell is where you see the tilt switches. OEM's are sided, as in passengers is on the left.. drivers on the right. With the lookylikey ones they are generic so have the tilt's on both sides ;)

I've no doubt these are genuine Recaro seats, they're just not what I was after. I'm a picky bastard :)

Might be ok then, the only reason i know this is that i have one of each. The guides on one of mine are cloth, with the switch on one side. The other one has a plastic guide with the switch on both sides.

EDIT: If they have been installed aftermarket then they aren't OEM though ;)
