They'r supposed to prevent hot air from reentering ur intake and also stop crap from getting back into ur engine. Just wana know if anybodys done it b4 and passed MOT ok. Nodalmighty Posted May 3, 2005 Share Posted May 3, 2005 I have no cats, EGR or PCV system (they never had the charcoal canisters on UK cars anyway) and my old 7M-GTE managed 0.01%CO and 55 ppm HC at the last MOT.
