quick handbrake question

Just a quick one, since i bought my supra, (1st time supe owner) i thought this was completely normal....when i apply the handbrake the handbrake light comes on as normal, but also the triangle warning light comes on in the middle of the dash as well. since reading up i now know that the warning triangle is indeed that its warning you of a problem, so my guess is that its not meant to be there when the handbrake is applied?

has anyone else come across this problem and know how to resolve it? i think a ECU reset/fault check is on the cards as well.

The car parks and sits on the handbrake with no probs at all, passed MOT and everything.

Its a 93 N/A Auto that i drive.

any help would be greatly appreciated

Cheers

Dave

Thanks for the replies both - that puts my mind at rest! in saying that, my engine management light doesnt come on....at all, even when the ignition is on, and the rest of the instrument lights light up, the orange engine one doesnt. i suspect a blown bulb? is this common? i have a couple of other lights out as well, one on speedo, and one in the heating controls. i want to replace them all with a diff colour of LEDs when i get time anyways.

thanks again.

I had this problem way back when I bought my Supra. Turned out to be dry joints on the PCBs. Went over all the connections with a soldering iron and everything was cushty again...
