ok so i was drifting at a event this weekend and all of the sudden in mid drift the car lost power and now it wont start. pulled the plugs and checked for spark. nothing and i am totaly lost i checked to make sure the crank sensor hadnt worked its was lose and checked the cam sensors as well. anybody have idea?

It may be the pickup gear on the crank sensor has come loose from the lower timing gear. I've seen this MANY times, especially if the car just randomly stops running. Have you been experiencing any misfires lately???

 

I always make sure and weld the pickup to the gear anytime I'm in there to avoid the popoff.....

yea i have a problem under boost like cutting out in stuff, i also had a problem with my ignition feed back wire connection was bad but fixed that a while ago and i checked it to see if mabe if came out but its still in contact but i will check that gear as much as i hate to pull all that shit off to check it lol

yeah i had a friend tell me to check the gear and saturday im goin to take the tbelt cover off and look at it also ive heard that when you do a lot of high reving the intake cam can break? does anybody know if thats true?

ok guys i got it running it was the wheel behind the timming belt crank wheel haad broke off i welded it and she is running bettere= than ever. thanks for all yalls help very appreciated
