stinboy
stinboy - I dont think I could live without dogs in my life now My two go everywhere with me in the Supe In the beast it will be no problem - i've already designed a dog basket that will fit on the front seat. It has suspension and harnesses and everything! (lie -but i do have a basket) I was expecting to work from home a lot more - but work has just picked up loads. I do have a friend who is willing to look after a dog, and I am quite prepared to pay what it takes for a regular sitter. I reckon you chaps are going to say yes - but is there anybody with bad experiences of working all day and dogsitters? ps Sorry Meko i've only quoted hadyn because I still can't work out how to quote more than one post! Meko
lol, use the "+ picture to multi quote. Click it on each post you want to quote and it'll turn red. I had murders when i got Wils, NI's suffer with seperation anxiety and she'd trash the house and crap / piss everywhere. That's why i had to sort it out so she could get outside as well, although if she can get upstairs she'll still do it. Rio is fine on his own all day, although he's quite old now so he'll just sleep. I used to pay a friend a tenner a day 3 days a week to come round and keep an eye on them for a bit and give them a walk.

Matt H
Jeez, there's a lot of dog owners on this forum. I feel restricted with my GF's cats. Plus they get hair everywhere.

Restricted BY. They depend on you, they need to be looked after, which makes things tricky sometimes. That's just a cat though, dogs are a whole other level. You said you felt "restricted" - i was hoping that we were on the same page, seems we are!!! I always found cats to be grumpy sods who p!ss off out all day and pop back for dinner then off again! Matt H
I always found cats to be grumpy sods who p!ss off out all day and pop back for dinner then off again! Cat's are very independant and will do what they want when they want. They are very cute though and can be effectionate (when it suites them - or it's near dinner time). I find myself actually looking forward to seeing the kitties when I go round. Well the one I bought her anyway. They have a strange appeal, but I could do without them at times; especially at 5.00 when they jump on the bed, or when we're watching t.v and they're purring. Anyway, I don't think I could be doing with the devotion a dog needs.

I love Dogs but I work all day and I haven't the get up and go to take a Dog out for long walks when it's blowing a gale and chucking it down with Rain. With my Cat I just open the Door and he disappears for several Hours, then comes home and cuddles up to me and Purrs a lot which is sweet as. Jamesy
Problem i find with cats is when they are loving a bit of stroking, start purring...everything is going fine...then they decide it'll be nice to do that wierd thing with their claws where the flex them and proceed to sctrach the shit out of whatever clothes you are wearing - usually work trousers!!!! keancy
When I do that `er indoors tells me @?#~*& off. LOL, so would I but I was refering to "he" as in my Tom Cat, not him in-doors Problem i find with cats is when they are loving a bit of stroking, start purring...everything is going fine...then they decide it'll be nice to do that wierd thing with their claws where the flex them and proceed to sctrach the shit out of whatever clothes you are wearing - usually work trousers!!!! Mine brings his claws out too but normally he claws into thin air, the only thing he likes to claw that I wear is my Dressing Gown, nice and soft I guess and it doesn't bother me, unless the claws go through and into the skin now that is nasty I am guessing at the end of the day Cats have different Characters just like Dogs and Humans and I think I am very lucky with the temperament of my Cat. Don't think I could ever find one like him again.

My stepson is requesting a mutt for our new abode, fancy shipping yours??
