guye_d
Hey Guys, Finally have my emanage ultimate up and running nicely on the vvt-i single. Just one question and I should be good to go. I would like to verify that i have knock setup correctly. Currently I have it tapped to the intake temp sensor to read knock. I noticed recently that Greddy sells a Knock sensor adapter which is recommended for the T-17 harness which is the vehicle specific harness for the vvt-i supra. Is there any merit to purchasing this? Does it add any value over just tapping? Thanks Dudley
chrispot
the intake temp sensor does not read engine knocking, i dont know where there are on the supra, normaly on the block near the top, have a look on the web for knock sensors and you will see what one looks like, the cable from the sensor should be shielded i think, have you got info on the vvti ecu this should tell you what wire it is, if not i will check to see if i have info, regards chris
Tricky-Ricky
You can access the factory knock sensor wire at the ECU where you have your EMU plumbed in, after that its just a case of selecting the option in the setup menu.
