Guest Cherubim
Hi, I've bought a TT MT Supra and I'm loving it so far. Since I'm nosy I wanted to see the ECU & stuff and went "WTF?!" when I opened the cover. The former owner had the throttle control unit disconnected ... Now why would anybody do that? Since I'm pretty new to the supra could you please point me in the direction what the advantage of disconnecting the unit is?
Ian C
Perhaps it's the traction control ECU that's disconnected. And good riddance to it too, it's terrible -Ian

Ian C
Sayanora, adieu, gooooooodbye stock TC ECU Mine went in the bin years ago. If you want traction control, fit the RaceLogic system, it's desperately good. -Ian
Calzo21
Talk about bumping an old thread but I'm currently trying to figure out why my supra isn't going past the jap limit The seller said it's been delimited and convert to mph, it reads mph anyhow it is still limited Looked for the chip and looked the ecu and my footwell and it's as you have said that the TC unit is gone, however mines is Auto TT VVTi would it have the TC unit in the same place and has been replaced ? Just trying to understand what's all changed on the car so I know what's been done
