Guest suprasutty
Just been handed by the Postman my renewal notice for £437. This is crazy I`m 37 driven since I passed my test 3 weeks after my 17th birthday, never had a claim or conviction and live where a bottle of milk being stolen makes news headlines. The quote is for a NA model not a TT, I can actualy insure a a UK spec Subaru STI for the same price I think its time to have a serious think about keeping the Supra. martini
NA models have always been the same as or more to insure as the UK TT as it's an import - cutting the list of insurers down. I'd love that insurance cost!
Guigsy
mine is 2 times that. And its a UK car. count yourself lucky. id rather have a supra than a sti for the same insurance price tho tbh!
paul_h
but its a renewal quote, everyone knows they try it on in the hope you just renew and dont look around. try one of these comparison sites then go back to them.
Supranature
Lucky you. Try £937, aged 47, no points/convictions, never claimed- a model customer if you like, same car as you.............. That was 2 yrs ago, after that when my renewal was due they REFUSED to quote me, so went elsewhere and got it for £740 (I think) The above figures are for the car kept OFF ROAD AND GARAGED. Now pay £343 on a classic policy, used them before on various Porsches I've owned. They are in Birmingham, but will only quote if you are over 30 and the car is garaged. If you fall into this PM me and will give you the guys number direct. Ps, it also needs to be a 2nd vehicle with an agreed mileage.
