Stick with it, boyracers do not have the longevity to see these cars become classics. I will need to see you and Ian after the winter to prep our two for next year! A chav car: any car driven with little to no regard for the safety of others while being clad in badly fitting and often dangerous modifications carried out with the sole intention of looking good going round and round in circles in MacDonald's car park. Usually an NA, and usually 'improved' with more external coloured lighting than the strip in Las Vegas. The bigger the wheels, the higher the chavcount. HTH. Terminator Posted October 18, 2009 Share Posted October 18, 2009 Must admit I have not seen any chaved up MKIV's round here. Most are pretty subtle, looking mostly stock. I think the number of good cared for example will decline, but there will always be died hard enthusiasts who will keep the cars looking good and running well. Insurance will keep many away, daily running costs will also be another obstacle for some. As cars get older and more expensive bits go wrong, the annual costs of ownership are going to be astronomical compared with a Corsa.
