michael
You're too late Mitch, I corrected that before you posted. Fail It doesn't matter if it was corrected, it still happened
Matt H
It doesn't matter if it was corrected, it still happened Fair point, but i corrected it straight away, thus realising my mistake and rectifiying it before being told; so only 5% as bad as originally thought. You have 95% fail.

Nemesis
it's just water, the other day I had a water fight with some local pikey kids, I won easy, they were no match for my trusty kettle of boiling water.

tbourner
Wow this is a split thread, I guess Michael's right! By the way, I'm in the camp that thinks it's stupid and moronic, and the driver and her screaming-like-a-girl bloke need to have their eyes stabbed out. I don't care if that punishment far outweighs the result of the crime or even the potential result of the crime, it's just plain disrespect for people you don't know and have no reason to have ill respect for - it's the same as beating the crap out of a stranger 'for shits and giggles' as far as I'm concerned. Rob
it's just plain disrespect for people you don't know and have no reason to have ill respect for - . They're teenage kids, there's every reason to disrespect them.
Matt H
it's the same as beating the crap out of a stranger 'for $#@!s and giggles' as far as I'm concerned. It's not quite that bad though is it. The thing in contention is the dangerous driving. The kids probably got the rest of the day off school! Bonus, mums the loser in this as she has to wash all the dirty clothes. Can't believe no one has raised the 'poor mum' point yet
RedM
They're teenage kids, there's every reason to disrespect them. I agree. They're lucky that they aren't animals. Get too close to the water hole without paying attention and a crocodile will get you. Sadly, as humans they won't be wiped out like that so we get the pleasure of their company for a little longer. The driver and co-pilot should be burnt at the stake. Utter scum and anyone who defends them is scum too.

The best reaction the fly-catching daughter could muster was "We woz standing there and then yeah, we got soaked." Brilliant stuff, really puts the human angle into the story. supra_aero
The driver and co-pilot should be burnt at the stake. Utter scum and anyone who defends them is scum too. FFS, so you have never been splashed before?! I have, and as a school kid. You take it on the chin and move on. Yes I'd be annoyed, yes I'd be laughed - and yes people do find amusement at others misfortune -[sHOCK HORROR MKIVSUPRA.NET]- that is part of life. I wouldn't go to my local police or sky news and make a big bloody deal about it. My mum and teachers would have thought I was a bloody spoilt brat to expect it to go that far - especially if I had not been hurt in any way what so ever. No harm has been done. It is sad this is how the world has become that such a silly story makes headlines. If Cheryl Cole was to fart on tv that would make the headlines. Some of you would probably think - OMG, that is so rude!! - I am getting my pen and paper out and write a complaint to OFCOM and ITV. People get splashed daily in rainy GB and like it or not, many a passerby on the otherside of the road may quietly chuckle at your expense. That is life! Coming on here saying they are scum (despite no-one being hurt), they should be burned at the stake and stupid comments like that is just plain that. Stupid. michael
I think there is a slightly difference between "a bit of a splash during normal driving" and "let's drive down this hill really fast while recording a video because there is a big puddle in front of some children, we are so funny" though isn't there? I got splashed by some rain today, that's fine, if someone throws a bucket of water at me I'll eat their eyelids.
