It is if the battery is flat The fuses are in the engine bay under a black plastic cover just behind the battery.

Swampy442
Providing the fuses are intact and the battery is charged you should get lights etc. Does anything electrical power up, stereo, roof lights stc?
supratony
all fuses are ok and new battery fully charged still nothing no lights on dash or stereo or roof lights.
Gambit
Sounds like you have a main earth fault.
stevie_b
Sounds like you have a main earth fault. I have to agree. If your battery's charged and none of your electrics work, then I'd suspect part of the main electrical circuit. It probably won't help, but I'd try running another earth from the engine block to the negative battery terminal with a jump lead.

TopgunTT
Would a knackered alternator cause this?
stevie_b
Would a knackered alternator cause this? I don't think so: the dashboard lights don't depend on the alternator, but they don't work either.
