DSK
I have a Samsung Tocco Ultra, installed the phone software onto the PC as per the instructions without fault and no issues. No when I connect the USB to the phone with the phone software running on the PC, it does not seem to be able to communicate with the phone. I hve checked the phone settings and they are set to talk with the phone software on the PC. Apparently a few friends also have the same phone with the same problem. Anyone got any ideas what the issue is or what I could try?
MaveriK
Does your computer recognise that a device has been plugged into the USB? Have you tried a different USB slot? Does another USB device work in the slot you are trying to use?
Dan_Turism0
I have this phone mate, What version of windows are you running?
DSK
I'm running Windows XP Home I have tried alternative USB slots and its the same. The USB slot I'm using I use for my digi cam and Sony Ecrisson without any issues. The system does recoginise a device has been plugged in as I get that prompt in the bottom right corner. Mike
I have a 8910iHD and it asks me what I want it to pretend to be when I plug it in; mass storage, PC Suite etc. Are you selecting something on the phone? Have you got another cable you can try?
