Chris Wilson
I daren't think how long I have been doing this engine, it's taken an absurd amount of time I decided to have a big push and get the thing in the car this weekend. I also finished the propshaft and trial fitted it. Two slight issues, I have modded the stock fuel rail to take a -8 fitting that nicely coincided with the heater pipes. That'll need sorting, and the external head drain is making getting a socket on the already hard to get at top starter bolt a real challenge. I may put the starter on studs and use K nuts as they are a smaller hex size for their thread diameter, and with a tweak to the angle of the drain fitting union it should be OK. It's not shiny or powder coated, but it's finished and I never thought I'd say that before Christmas Fuel system to plumb, engine harness to support, and exhaust to fit, plus a PAS cooler to fit, and it should be capable of starting and having a systems test. http://www.chriswilson.tv/finished/finished.html

Andy Blyth
Is it just the photo, or is there a big crack in the side of the block? Looks good anyway, would love to see this running!
