Stratty
The missus and I decided to sit and watch the x-factor last night and I thought it was a pretty good show, apart from Danni's comment to Danyl about his sexuality. Surely she can't get away with making such a comment. She would be dragged ver the coals if it was a racist comment but this must be viewed in the same light. Totally disgusted withher comment and she should either make an apology or be kicked off.
c8sup
I agree, i havent read anything about this in the papers about his sexuality but i was stunned by what she said last night. What is the story behind this anyway?
Multics
I was also sat with my girlfriend watch this and didn't really get what she was on about. Then she actually repeated it to Simon... She does make some comments where the audience stops cheering and there's a big blank. But this time it was something different.
Stratty
I only twigged what she had sad when Danyl stated that he had nothing to be ashamed of in rely to her comment. I wonder if the meda will jump all over this..
stevie_b
What exactly did she say? I didn't watch the programme but I'm curious. Generally (can't say if this is true here) I think people are too sensitive these days and consciously choose to be offended.
Matt H
Very bizzare, I caught it too and thought can't believe she said it!

The Raven
I thought she was making light that maybe he used to be a she? EDIT After reading the news of the world, he did an interview with them last week saying he is AC DC
lexsum
The missus and I decided to sit and watch the x-factor last night..... that was the first mistake! anything that happened thereafter, well, you only have yourselves to blame. Hmm. Interesting choice of words, but it's difficult to tell in what spirit it was meant without seeing the actual clip (which I won't be doing). simonsupra
i new nothing about the alegations of him being an up hill gardener untill i read on my mates facebook (who coincidently is also gay) that he want Danyl to win because he is a 'friend of the sort' then the comment from Danni haha tha was halarious i thought, if also abit shocking. oh well, if your going to be in the spot light you must expect things like this to happen
AJI
It was reported in the papers that Danyl had mentioned how he was attracted to Danni, Cheryl and also erm....Simon....so he likes his bread buttered on both sides so to speak. Some say he was vocalising this to try and get the judges on side to give him good comments in the live shows etc. But I guess Danni didn't like what he was trying to do and put him in his place . I like these controversial moments on live TV...its a refreshing change to the usual prehersed PC and edited media that we usually get. Ewen
By his own admission, he dates men and women, and is bisexual according to the Mirror.
peter richards
for the first show he will easily win it , i thought the whole idea was to develop confidence , which he appears to have in abundance, sort of sense the other judges trying to knock him just to give their acts a possible chance
Ewen
I'm in love with a member of the audience. Thirteenth row up from the front, sixteen seats in from the left. She is rather gorgeous.

Scott
The comment was just unprofessional and spiteful. The comment itself doesn't bother me in the slightest as the country is far to PC anyway. Its a bad day if we find what she said shocking, it was just a little dig at the opposition. She shouldn't be putting herself forward like that because of her position but I feel that is the only issue with what happened.
tony tt
Fair enough she did comment on his sexuality on live tv but a lot worse has been said in the past so i dont really see the problem. They all have their favourites cheryl and simon had their own digs at the twins previous to that and nothing was said.

Lbm
It may have been her hair, but it seemmed some one had dropped an anvil on her head last night. Probably explains her comments.
