tooquicktostop
On the quest to find a new toy for myself I am also considering the storage of this car for the days/weeks it is not being used I do not have a garage at home, just allocated parking spaces, the cars I have looked at today all need to be stored indoors to maintain their value and keep them safe I am looking for a secure garage in the Purfleet area of Essex, will travel a few of miles for the right garage Long shot but do any members have a spare garage or know of one, or know the best place to search for such a service The garage must be dry and well secure, rent or purchase even
pistonbroke
Your local authority/council will have a list of council owned en-block garages that your can rent. SE London prices are about £500 per year. I also found a website recently for rented off road parking where you could put a postcode in to find spaces in your area, but most were vacant driveways for commuters. Edit - or you could do what I did and have one built
tooquicktostop
No place to build where I live, would mean buying some land and building, that all gets a bit expensive Dont fancy renting a council garage for storing a special car

They own loads of garages, even where most older council houses have been bought by the owners. I know a few ex council places round my way are now top of the food chain when it comes to areas to live.....Pretty much all of the SE3 Blackheath postcode is ex council, yet even a lottery winner couldn't afford it. tooquicktostop
I guess my way would be too far wouldnt it Dean? I do know someone who would have a space I would consider it Tom, I have a wonderful Space in Canary Wharf (my office) which is an option but would like somewhere away from work also, Southend would be ok as it is right on the train line here I need to get the garage sorted before I buy the car
Tom
Ok, no problem, it's near to where I used to have my unit, so it's totally secure etc

It maybe a temp arrangement if I can find something closer, dont want to lose the car down to not having a garage It is something you dont have to even think about with a Supra, wind, rain, snow it used to sit outside and start first time and never rust
