a98pmalcolm
just found out y he got him down in one punch lol read this: DAD captured flattening a yob on a St Helens estate in a video clip sweeping the internet is an an ex-soldier - with two black belts, according to a tabloid newspaper. In the video a thug is seen hurling abuse at St Helens dad Jason Smith and trying to goad him into a fight. Remarkably, the 35-year-old Gulf War veteran is stood on his doorstep keeping his cool... until the yob kicks over a dustbin. Jason - a 15st master in karate and jiu-jitsu - is then shown on the YouTube clip flattening the foul-mouthed aggressor as a crowd gathered. The yob then scrambles away from the scene on his knees. Scott
FWIW its nice to see a toe to toe fight involving a yob. Usually its 10 of them carrying. Things can be sorted out this way IMO.
Abz
That my friend is Wing Chun, its a fight style which I am studying. Wing is not about being all fancy, infact all it is about is going in straight for the kill & finishing then off or disable them so then they can not harm you. When this guy was down, he could followed through with a number of quick small punches into one concentrated area. He knows how dangerous his skills are and decided not to use them. Just taking him down with one blow was enough to make the Chav realise! Oh if you get a chance, check out a recent film called "IP MAN"
Scott
Jeet Kune Do serves the same purpose. If you want to see some of that in action just watch Bruce Lee

The guys I trained with were way too hardcore (that's East London for you) - I do like the look of my face. They already nearly knocked me out when sparring. Where in London do you do it?
