I've heard that Chris Wilson's "fast road" pads coupled with a swap to braided lines makes a huge difference for a Jspec. I am converting to U.S. fronts myself. My own fast road pad set for J-Spec are 130 a full car set. I also have a mint as in 200 mile old, EBC Red Stuff full car set. 75 quid. Both options plus 6.80 P&P. No VAT to pay.
