Even cheaper, smash yourself up with a hammer and go as "metalist with a hammer"

caseys
get a white shirt and some grotty jeans you don't want to wear every again. Go down the butchers and ask for any offal/tripe/offcuts they have. Adorn accordingly. May smell on a hot day. Also you can make your own fake blood with a good consistency by using : 1 part water to 3 parts corn syrup Red food colouring Stir in corn starch until thick, adding bits, stirring, leaving for a minute and repeat. (it's edible) or if you want the in-edible more splattery stuff Hair gel - clear - get as much as you want of blood Engine oil - ditto. Mineral, synth, semi synth... just as clear as light as possible Half as much red food colouring as there is gel/oil. small amount of chocolate ice cream sauce to improve the dark colour/thickness This should turn out as a little thicker than water, browny red and as opaque as milk. if you let it fall from about 4-5 foot / throw it with a stick it makes nice splatter patterns Learnt all this when trying to do a reasonable zombie impression.
