michael
I've had 4 Fiats (various Puntos from a '94 up to the latest Grande), they were all sh*t in one way or another but something kept making me buy them... no idea what it was but suspect it could have been the glue they used to stick the cheap plastic interior to the cheap metal exterior. My dad had an original Panda 4x4 for a while, it was awful on the road but great in the fields, used to be able to get places the Landrover couldn't because it was so light and flimsy. They build some nice looking cars that are generally much cheaper than their rivals, unfortunately it's the corners they cut to make them this cheap that causes them to be utterly poo... that and the rubbish dealers. spidermonkey
Great cars! I passed my test in my mates one. IIRC wasn't it the same engine in the Lancia Beta? (But transversely mounted FWD of course) I loved Betas too. Shame these two car models were amongst the worst rust buckets ever made. that engine then evolved to power the Integrale (one of my all time fav's) amongst others
