Kev.O
I'm thinking of going BPU, so I'm looking out for some different spark plugs. Are these the right sort, if not could anyone please point me in the right direction. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=72205&item=7971803297&rd=
merckx
Yes they are the correct ones. Some of us prefer to buy the NGK plugs, I got a set of 6 for £10.43 NGKBKR7E(6097) at Brown Brothers Motor Factors. They aren't supposed to last quite as long as the Denso's but I much prefer to put new NGK ones in more often.
Steve
Is that the same part number for BPU cars aswell?
merckx
Is that the same part number for BPU cars aswell? Yes it is, they're recommended for the BPU car - working well on mine!
Kev.O
I had a look under the bonnet today, mainly to see the condition of the hoses and had a look ata spark plug whilst I was there. It said NGK Greddy and the number 8. Does the number 8 stand for the heat grade, if so isn't it a bit cold for a stock engine. If so what sort of difference will I notice when I replace them with the denzo's from the above link
Gazzawu
The ngk copper 3330 ones are meant to be quite good if its just for a bhp supe. Cheap as chips and perform the same as platinum. Forgot the part number u will have to look for it in the ngk american website cos the uk one sucks.
