My Cat Is Missing :(

Hopefully puss cat has turned up this morning?

I remember thinking I'd lost my Linus. I'd moved house from the only house he'd known, and he was 8 at the time. He escaped into the back garden the very first night and ran away. I spent hours looking for him, but then went to bed and he was back the next morning meowing at the door. I have no idea how he knew where to come back to!

Mine did the very same thing 3 days after we moved recently, and we moved from a quiet Lane in middle of nowhere to a busy main Road so I feared the worst but 3 Hours later he turned up again much to my surprise.

People are right, check your Neighbours Garages and Sheds. Last year for the first time ever my Cat didn't come home one night (he is 3), I looked everywhere and shouted, then spend a restless night worrying where he might be, then the next morning looked for him everywhere again and went into my Neighbours garden thinking naaa surely he isn't............ opened their Garage/Studio and shouted his name and I be damned he was in there all along.

I would ask at all the vet surgeries.....a cat run out in front of me at 05:00 in the morning, straight under the front wheels, it died after a few minutes of riggling around in pain. I put it in the boot and went home as I was just finish a night shift, slept for a few hours and in the afternoon took it to the local vet to dispose of and they checked for an electronic tag but nothing. I put a poster up in the local shop but dont think the owners ever saw it, so it might be worth asking the local vets if any cats had been brought in.

Oh now :( only just noticed this thread Kayla! So sorry to hear that. I'd be gutted if our little bear disappeared (even though she does my head in most of the time!)

Fingers crossed that you get my kitties sister back!!! If she's anything like ours, she's be hard as nails and just fine :)

Awww, its not sweep (sister to yours) its a cat we 'inherited' with our new house, this girl is hard as nails, and i must say i am noticing it more now that there are non dead decapitated mice/birds/rabbits on our driveway on a daily basis :taped:

My cat went missing for a week!!!

She had got scared and was 2 houses down under a shed! that was it, she didnt go out much for quite a while after that.

Awww, although i am gutted she is still away, its been over two weeks now, im sure she is most likely in a grain store somewhere (as we are surrounded by farms and fields) She is a fully fledged hunter so im not to worried about her dying of starvation, if it was one of our other younger cats, then i would be :search:
