TonyP
My friend's cat went missing for 4-5 days. She searched the whole neighborhood looking for her. Then she just turned up on the doorstep. She'll probably be back soon. Might be worth sticking some posters up asking people to check their sheds etc.
merckx
We've had quite a few cats over the years and they do go missing from time to time. Did she have a collar with your address or telephone number? Yes, I would be putting some posters up. It's not nice to have to do so but it might be worth asking the council cleansing department just incase the worst has happened and she has been knocked over, the local vets too. pedrosixfour
;)I hope you find, you won't pass the MOT without it. Chin up K, it's said the little feckers have 9 lives for a reason you know. Cats are only partly domesticated, they'll take off for a walkabout around their patch when they feel the need, find something interesting and hang around there til they get bored. Holden1989
I live basically in the middle of no-where so even if i did put posters up i dont think anyone would bother looking at them She didnt have a tag on, Iv bought her a lovely pink new collar with a bell and tag on, but its just sat on the kitchen table I bet she just struts in.......... Or wakes me up tomorow morning by meowing outside the bedroom door

supra matt
I would not worry to much i live in the middle of no where to and had cats they would disappears and then reappear a fue days later . A cat is about the only pet that can look after it's self which is a good thing (ie hunt and feed it's self ) So if it dose go walk about not to worry to much . AJI
As mentioned already, cats usually go into garages and even other people's houses to keep warm during the colder nights. But sometimes they get locked in and come back once the garage door or whatever has been opened again. It happens a lot.
cheekymonkey
Hopefully puss cat has turned up this morning? I remember thinking I'd lost my Linus. I'd moved house from the only house he'd known, and he was 8 at the time. He escaped into the back garden the very first night and ran away. I spent hours looking for him, but then went to bed and he was back the next morning meowing at the door. I have no idea how he knew where to come back to! Aweegin
One of my old cats got lamped buy a few cars in it's time.. he disappeared one of these times for over a fortnight and finally came home. It's a cats nature to hold up now n then.. and, tbh.. you could walk within feet of it.. if it doesn't wanna be found, you wont see it. That's not taking into account they go walk about, i don't live in a very populated area..but have had one shut in next doors house before.. Give it time.. ellis
Our old ginger one went walkies for weeks - turned up about a mile away in the end. Just looked at me as if to say "What? I've been out, what's the problem?!!" Ruddy cats - too independent by half!
Holden1989
Still no sign, and its chucking it down outside Thanks for all the comments I even got on the floor to look under the supra last night with a torch because i though i saw a tail disappear under there As for garages and shed, we only have two direct neighbours and neither of them have seen her, might go furthur up the lane tonight and ask around Ruddy cat
Roxy_Woos
Have you rung your local veterinary surgey? it might be as well to. I work at a vets and we have lots of stray cats coming in. Unfortunately vets only have to keep a cat 7 days by law and if no owner comes forward it is put up for adoption. Also if your cat is injured in anyway (fingers crossed its not) the vet is not legally allowed to begin treatment (unless the animal is critical) without the owners permission. I Hope you find her. x
