Alex
Shame the rad is so tall...I'd be afraid of it overheating the TV and PS3. I take it there was no choice but to put it on that wall? I feel I shall have to post a pipc of my setup tonight
Chris Wilson
The best TV in our gaff is a 30 inch (I think....) CRT set one of the Num brothers gave me. I am so unworthy I can think of nothing with less priority in 2010 than buying some monster flat screen thing to nail on the wall Is it an age thing? Anyone else just not interested in upgrading TV's on an almost annual basis?
Ric
Don't suppose you've got a spare £57,000 one we installed last year http://www.carbonangel.co.uk/images/CH2%20Lounge.JPG
RiceRocket
one we installed last year http://www.carbonangel.co.uk/images/CH2%20Lounge.JPG Wow, seeing it next to those patio doors gives you a measure of its size.
Ric
and if you saw the installation picture you'd see the weight, 7 guys to lift it on the wall haha

Digsy
That's plainly a normal sized TV in a tiny little person's house. Have you seen the size of the face reflected in the window?

Anyone else just not interested in upgrading TV's on an almost annual basis? I hear you Chris. I am in my mid 30s, and I have only bought one TV in my life. That was a 25" Sony CRT, bought 2nd hand from the local Friday-Ad about 7 years ago, and I still have it as the only TV in the house. I currently have no plans to upgrade to a newer one. stevie_b
That's a bit NWS is it not? I don't expect to be inundated with offers, but here's hoping (it might help pay for a new telly).

Scott
lol Mr and Mrs, the Mr and Mrs photo and the looks like Willow Tree Mr and Mrs Figure Mr and Mrs anyone....... nice flat screen;) Scotty Good catch. I was thinking more along the lines of the entire setup being guy oriented and yet the tv is showing girly crap. Xbox, PS3, Wii, Wifi Router, HD Cable box etc and then showing Mr & Mrs lol. Scott
So girls can't have a good tv set up?! I can't think of anything more girly than your tv and it's surrounds. Course they can Just using the usual stereotypes. I picked the TV, the Stand, The consoles (want a black wii now) and the cable box. Chazza girlyfied it all with the ornaments etc.
JustGav
I must take some pics of mine, been on a bit of mission the last two/three days. Rewiring/rebuilding/reloading my system here at home. Now use IP for all av distribution, both freesat and shared media. Also shrunk my carbon footprint a fair bit (from 800w down to 150w) on my 24-7 servers by virtualizing them
Pot
My current setup : http://www.mr-pot.co.uk/images/random/TV4.jpg http://www.mr-pot.co.uk/images/random/TV2.jpg 46" Samsung 1080p with a custom surround sound setup (I have the same Saturn 10 speakers to the rear too ) XBox Elite, PS3, and a Wii if I can be bothered to put it back in... Need to spend some time organising the cables though... (And need another bookcase for all the extra DVD's... ) - And want to buy some different art to fit around the TV... It all looks a bit odd ATM... Not allowed to mount a screen on the wall though as I rent - But the stand was a great choice, and does give a great impression in itself Not really a cinema setup, but in the bedroom : http://www.mr-pot.co.uk/images/random/TV9.jpg 40" 1080p Samsung, XBox 360, wireless sennheiser headphones so I don't annoy the neighbours It's great for pr0n lol

I love the projector, I really want to get one some day. Are you sure about the 8' BTW? The door will be just under 6'6" in height which looks way bigger than the length of the screen. Looks to be just over 3' high, call it 3.5' (going by the height of the door in comparison to the screen). That would give a 7' screen? What's a foot between friends though Looks fantastic regardless.
