I am after one of two plates as the wife has nicked mine LOL

I am after either

K1 RBS which is on an Audi A3

or

K11 RBS which is on a green volvo 940 LOL

someone told me they had seen the volvo in the southampton area??

I have tried to contact them via the dvla but they sent the letters back saying it was not a good enough reason to forward the letters on :(

If anyone spots either of these cars and can get the details theres is a reward on offer :D

Cheers

Mike

I thought that a lot of the companies that offer plates can offer this service, ie, contact the registered keeper and see if they want to sell on your behalf?

Some say they can find the plate, but I'm dubious whether they really can. In fact, one of them has a FAQ page which includes the question about finding a plate - and they say the answer is no, because only the police and DVLA can obtain that information and they won't do so just for a plate purchase enquiry.

I suspect if you ask them to find a particular plate, they'll say they can't - and then hassle you to buy something they do have which they think is close.

You might have been lucky to miss it, Craig.

The fraudster actally had CRA 1C and a black number plate screw. The owner of CRA 1G (it's on an Aston), who posts on Pistonheads, wasn't very happy. :)

Don't waste your money, just get the plates made up via the Internet and stick them on your car until you get caught, the fine will be a lot less unless you are really naughty:

The funny thing is the plate was never his, it belongs to a chap from the Leeds area that's on Pistonheads, I see it about now and again.

Edit: Crikey, there must be some brain control going on somewhere :)
