jevansio
Do you mean a DSLR? I use a Canon 400D (Rebel XTI if you don't mind buying in the USA and not having a UK warranty - saved a couple of pennies when I bought it), takes great pics, you might need to hunt to get it for £250, the next model down (350D) is just as good and should be easily picked up for £250 with a kit lense

Frank Bullitt
If you shoot in RAW and use a good UV or CP lens filter the pictures will be spotless.
jon5698
I will bring mine up on thursday for you mate so you can have a play with it, it is a Nikon D40 and would be ideal for what you want as they are quiet cheap now
Supradoopa
If you just want a camera that does auto shoot then your probably better off with a point and shoot compact
Lbm
It's also a question of basic technique - holding whichever camera you decide to buy, steady etc

Tom
great not the cheeky question, how much skill is involved in taking these pics.. i just want them for my website.. AUTO SHOOT ? Yeah you really wont get the best out of the camera just using auto mode, most of the time the pics will just look like a decent compact. Most people do think it is all down to the camera but a certain amount of practice is needed along with the basics covered

Most people do think it is all down to the camera but a certain amount of practice is needed along with the basics covered sadly, have to agree.... a lot of people do just think the bigger/better camera will take better pictures best suggestion is learn the basics, ISO, shutter speed and aperture... get a good quality lens (and a polariser) as that will make the most difference. Oh and a tripod and remote - these will keep the camera very steady and should ensure rather decent sharpness, etc.
AndyT
Gotta learn more about RAW format. Do all DSLR's shoot this etc. Any good pointers?
