RedM
I've got my MOT on Monday and just remembered that my rear plate has one letter slightly affected by the impact of a Civic driven by a lass in too much of a hurry. Where do you buy them from? Do Halfords do them? Do you need to take any documents with you? Thank you.

Jake
Yes Halfords do them. They'll insist on seeing your Log Book (V5) though.
lexsum
Smaller car part shops tend to be less formal and cheaper than halfords. Halfirds recently expected £13 from me for a small bike plate and they would have to order it from simewhere else so i went to a smaller supplier got it there and then under a tenner.
