SupraDan24
Hi guys, i wasnt sure where to put this thread. It's on behalf of Lamboyello, he's lost his password MkIV and can't recover it to his linked hotmail as he doesnt know his hotmail password either, something to do with his ex mrs anyway, he's asked me to post this on his behalf as he's sent a couple emails out trying to request his password to be sent to his new hotmail account which is [email protected]. If any mods can help with this or at reply to this thread and i'll forward on the info to him. Thanks

Thorin
Maybe you are his ex-wife posing as a fellow supra owner wanting access?
Mike
Maybe you are his ex-wife posing as a fellow supra owner wanting access? Posing as a Danish bloke and trying to flog his car for £70k without knowing too much about it?

Mike
Noted Is that a mental note or did you actually write it down in that note book that we always see you carrying around?
Lbm
Is that a mental note or did you actually write it down in that note book that we always see you carrying around? It's put in my special notebook and kept safe. Although sometimes I use said book to make my grocery list. I think that's allowed. I've now had to get it out again to make a note of this. It's not all fun fun fun being a mod you know.

Thorin
I've forgotten his password too, if you could let me know what it is when you reset it.
SupraDan24
Lol i thought that i would get this sort of reply. Yes Alex he has thought of that and has emailed twice with no reply. i didnt have to call him as i'm at his place now and am using his laptop. I have no way of proving that which is why i asked for a Moderator to look into it, maybe check the club mailbox for his emails that way you'll know im not his "ex wife" wanting access. Why an ex wife would want access to Mkiv i dont know I dont know who the moderators i need to speak to our myself hence me putting this in a thread. Can anyone think of a way around this, someone he can call or a direct email he can mail to get his password recovered to his new Hotmail. SupraDan24
Matt its not fraud mate and can you dont not ask to have me banned on pure speculation. im trying to do my mate a favour. Look on my friends list, he's on there, we've been mates for years and he lives like 10 mins from my house. If everyones just going to have a laugh on the thread instead of actually helping then the mods may aswell close off the thread as Rowe (lamboyello) is trying to buy a supra from flip and cant get on his account to have a look at his messages. Maybe if Flip reads this he can confirm that Rowe is interested in the car and we can get all this sorted out and avoid more sarcastic comments and ban requests. Cheers
Branners
Look at it from our viewpoint, you have 5 posts to your name and we dont know you from Adam. You are asking for us to send a new password to a Hotmail account for a user we also dont know from adam and who has not paid their membership fee anyway. The account owner needs to contact the moderators directly before we can do anything on this. They also need to explain how they lost track of their password when they have been logged in recently having not been on the forum for quite a while. We cannot simply reset an account and send a password out to a hotmail account just like that.
Homer
All sorted out now, I have mailed the fella with his details and sent an apology for the delay (it's not normal with admin emails), it was all legit in the end. Mawby and I normally manage the admin mailbox but he's away getting married and my mum died last week, so we've not been online much lately. lamboyello
All sorted now, thanks for the help from some people. I sent two emails like he mentioned twice and see no reason to give out why i lost my hotmail to random people who are not helping the situation...............just cant see the point of people writing on the thread if their not going to be helpful. thanks homer. SupraDan24
HAHA im glad its all sorted now, ive been stuck right in the middle of this. I always did understand where you were comin from Branners which is why i tried to be as honest and genuine as i could right from the start. Truth is, he is my mate and he really did lose his password which is why i didn't ask for his details to be sent to me, i just asked for the mods to check the mail to see his message so this whole thing could be sorted. Anyway, its been sorted now according to Homer so end of subject as far as i'm concerned. And as far as you know not knowing either us from Adam is concerned, we're both signing up for full memberships and are both planning on getting a tt from the classifieds to pretty soon i'm sure you'll get to know us both. Mods, you can close out the thread, thanks for the help
SupraDan24
At last !!! Now i have Rowe's details i can commit fraud to my hearts content Muhahah (evil laugh) lol. Nice to see you back on here Ro, told you i'd get it sorted. Many thanks to Homer for cleaning up this mess....not so much many thanks to the peeps who thought they'd take the p**s. Good job guys I'm only joshin, it was a bit of a crappy situation but the ends justify the means... i cant justify depriving my fellow man the joys of the MKIV website now can i !! Cheers to everyone involved. Good luck Ro with buying your tt...b*astard !

Glad its all sorted I disagree, you have been on the forum since 2007 using our technical resources and benefiting from what the club does, yet you feel you cannot stump up £10 to help fund the club you enjoy being part of? The time it took a moderator to reset your password and sort this out easily equalled £10. If you enjoy being part of the club then I think we would all appreciate it if you help fund it like the rest of the members have. Not being funny or anything, just telling you how it is and how it looks to me and the other members.

I was joking mate, I doubt the if anyone had fraud intentions then would start trying to get a unknowns password at Mkivsupra.net Still, stick to the procedures!
