dani_r
It looks like I'll need to be messing with the clutch this weekend, including new fluid etc. I'm just wondering if anyone has used any of the automatic bleed kits? Are they any good? Or a total waste of time? I looked at this one, but not really sure what to look for! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Pressure-Brake-Clutch-Bleeding-Bleeder-Bleed-FREE-UNIV_W0QQitemZ360193840010QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Measuring_Tools_Levels?hash=item53dd39d38a&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 Any input appreciated Many Thanks Dan

merckx
My brother bought one like that but I haven't used it yet. He said the cheaper one man bleeding kit that you connect to a car tyre was just as good if not better. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Gunson-Eezi-Bleed-Brake-Clutch-Bleeding-Kit_W0QQitemZ180414301464QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Hand_Tools_Equipment?hash=item2a0187c518&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 You've just got to keep an eye on the fluid level in the bottle and the air pressure supplied by the tyre, they work fine for occasional use. Chris Wilson
So long as you have a patient helper they are a waste of money. A bit of clear soft plastic pipe that's a snug fit on the bleed nipple and a jam jar are all you need.
merckx
So long as you have a patient helper. and your helper isn't a little deaf or isn't someone that you may argue with, for that reason I use a one man kit
