AndyT
Blue! Why not do a black caliper, but have the Supra logo in red - even more subtle Could be a winner there Johnny.

Scott
Blue looks good on photoshop, black with red writing doesn't look great IMO. What about a dark purple?
jevansio
It has to be a colour combo that either Brembo or AP do as standard, when the time comes I'll be upgrading to one of those, I've been out & done them red (in progress), both the AP & Brembos come in red so I'll get a good idea on what they'll look like. Paul, sure thing, will get the original of those uploaded so you can see

jevansio
Blue! Thing is they might look too subtle, at least a vibrant colour stands out

Scott
How did you get the discs off without taking off the calipers? or did you, then put them back on?
jevansio
How did you get the discs off without taking off the calipers? or did you, then put them back on? Put them back on , the OEM position is a great way to hold them, you can get the brush all over them
Ian W
How did you get the discs off without taking off the calipers? or did you, then put them back on? Must have removed them first, then put them back for painting. Could do with getting my finger out and painting mine. What prep did you do before painting? What prep did you do before painting? Degreased them, took a little wire brush on a drill to get the crevices, that was it

jevansio
Looks very good I think. Nice finish to that paint, is it special stuff? Cheers, just Halfrauds red brake caliper paint, did it in 3 coats with about 20mins inbetween each, it comes up with a great finish, can't see any brush marks at all,
EdMorris
Yeah thats really good. I'm using Hammerite smooth as I wanted a colour to match the interior so had to mix my own. Not as good as yours though. I'm rubbish at painting I've decided.

EdMorris
Yeah, I tend to do a coat and then leave it overnight. I was also told to rub down slightly between coats to get rid of brush marks and any dust/paint build up. Works well but takes ages. I think I need a better brush too.
