DODGYDODDS
Not sure how many parrot owners are on the board, but just had to do the humane thing to my african grey merlin. He was only 6. Had lots wrong kidney and liver disease, gutted as he was like me little companion round the house, always chatting and always cheeky. Stonkin
really sorry to hear that mate. have had several parrots myself and they have extremely big characters within a house, and voices keep your chin up pal. maybe in time you will be able to find a new companion, but you'll always have Merlin's memories
Scott
My Papa has one of these. Cracking animals to have when reared properly. Sorry to hear that bud, you did the right thing though.
DODGYDODDS
Cheers guys, yes will be a big gap within the house, as they make their presence known, thats for sure, still have jasper, another african grey, and chubby, an orange winged amazon. But merlin was the loud one It's funny as they know he aint there and are acting real quietly.

ivan
Really sorry to hear this mate. I dread to think how I'll be when my Amazon pops off. (That's if he doesn't outlive me...)
