SPG
Hi everyone, I am currently looking to buy a Base unit without a monitor (i already have one spare) for use in my new Business premises. I was wonderingif anyone could suggest me a good spec for my budget and also ifthere are any decent deals to be had. I would be using it for my business so would need programmes such as Microsoft Works, and would also like it to be able to perform regular activities of my home computer. Any help with this would be great. Thanks again
JamesC
Not sure of any but have a look through this site, always some decent stuff popping up: http://www.hotukdeals.com/computers/deals/hot?pagenumber=2&page=
DamanC
You should buy a custom PC from one of the online retailers. I don't mean PC world and Dell! Alternatively, ask me what I can build you for £
Max Headroom
Aldi or Lidi are doing a sub £400 computer box, seems OK

SupraDan24
Theres a good site you can join if you go the building it yourself route, its aptly named "Build your own.net" and its free. Its the Mkiv of the PC world If you google it, it'll come up, ive used it plenty of times and its very good. They've even got example builds on there for different circumstances ie gaming or work related. If you interested let me know and i'll post one of the example builds on here for office work and get you started. £400 should be plenty for the build and any software you want...if you want legit copies that is
Meko
i bought this beastie a few weeks back, cost £309 + delivery. Looks good and powerful enough for most things. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120460585705&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT although they come with no software, to make the most of the 8Gig of RAM you'd be better off with a 64bit OS or it'll only recognise 4Gig
