RobSheffield
It says 1.3 bar in the video....and if it was unmapped, 0.1 bar is still not a wise idea at full load.
Nic
Peak power is very good, but how come the torque is so far up the rev range? Looking at other cars with the same turbo the GT35R should be coming online a lot earlier than the graph indicates. It's slower spooling than my old T67dbb setup, but has more at the higher end. Unless I'm missing something obvious! i was thinking the same, good peak power but slow getting there
Wez
What size exhaust housing does your GT35r have?
mrgee2jz
What size exhaust housing does your GT35r have? largest one out there. 1.03~ i think
mrgee2jz
The way you did your window up was SIK. Is it a good idea to rag the car without mapping it? Good point, dont do this at home, unless you dont mind rebuilding the engine. It was mapped to bpu, so not completely unmapped and running low boost so no imediate danger
mrgee2jz
That vid was at .1 bar boost unmapped... and it was a messararound. were all hopefully going on a track dayin april, that, my 2JZ e30 and my 6 speed with should be coming also, as long as i can get some safe driver to take them with me!. LOL Then everybody can see the differences and maybe even take some vids edit! i meant to say around 1 bar. LOL, not sure where the . came from... Unless I'm missing something obvious! I am using the largest exhaust housing on it, thats why, didnt want to choke the engine at 7k same spec turbo fitted to the 2jz e30 (top pic) supra (lower pic)
