JustGav
Yes, if you click edit on the profile, you have an option for in holster, and out holster, make sure both of those are configured. I also use BBAlerts which allows you to tweak the LED colour to suit message type as well as brightness.
Branners
A question for the Blackberry experts.. Can you reprogram the convenience keys to do absolutely whatever you want? I want one of the keys to go to the next track on the media player as the only way to do that normally is to unlock the phone, dig in to the media player and then do it. I can set it to bring up the media player but not simply go to the next track.

EDIT : Ahhh, wait, I get what you mean... not sure on that. Have you checked the crackberry site?
Branners
I trawled all through the crackberry site, didnt find it. I also wanted to change the button on the headset that pauses the music so it changes track but cant find that either. I did find some good game downloads though, I now have pacman on my Pearl. Another good app I've discovered is QuickPull. It simulates a battery removal reset, the best part of it is that you can schedule it. I've got mine rebooting at 3am every morning, helps avoid memory leaks and potential problems with software running long term. DriveSafe.ly is cute if you are in the car a lot. JustGav
do you leave your phone turned on at night gav? does it work with the phone being off? Yeah, mine is on 24/7. I'm not sure, I suspect if you simply standby the phone it may work, although I really don't know.
